Advisors

Real experience.
One team.

A five-person team combining military and policing backgrounds across operational, instructional, tactical and investigative roles.

The team

A broad base of experience.

Frontline Advisory Group brings together military veterans and police professionals with complementary experience across the environments productions most often need to portray.

FLAG works as a collective. We draw on the team member whose real-world background best fits the scene, then translate that experience into practical, production-focused guidance.

Military operations

Field experience

Collective experience includes infantry operations, armoured and vehicle operations, artillery, reconnaissance, field operations, and offensive and defensive training environments.

Instruction

Professional training

Team members have served in formal instructional roles covering areas such as shooting, drill and marching, field skills, reconnaissance, and offensive and defensive operations.

Police operations

Frontline & tactical

Police experience includes frontline patrol, police use-of-force instruction, tactical operations, arrest and search procedures, operational planning, and the practical realities of uniformed police work.

Investigations

Plainclothes & interviewing

The team also brings experience in plainclothes investigations, interviewing, investigative procedure, surveillance-related work and the less visible side of police operations.

How we work

Credibility without the lecture.

01

Production focused

Advice is shaped around what can actually be rehearsed, filmed and achieved within the needs of the production.

02

Experience matched

We draw on the member whose background best fits the subject rather than treating every advisor as a specialist in every discipline.

03

Practical by design

The aim is not to make a scene into a training exercise. It is to give filmmakers enough real-world detail to make the finished work feel believable.

Production support

Bring us the scene.

We can identify the right experience within the team and build the level of technical support around what the production actually needs.
